picture quality was great, I wouldn't expect anything less from Nikon, however I sold it almost as soon as I got it because it did not auto focus with my D5000. Seller was awesome though.. he was willing to go against his own return policy for me if I hadn't resold it my self. Would definitely do business with again.

Please note this lens Auto Focus system is not compatible with NIKON D40, NIKON D60, NIKON D3000, and Nikon D5000.
This lens will fit above models, the focus system will only work manually.

This lens is Compatible with NIKON D50, NIKON D70, NIKON D80, NIKON D90, NIKON D200, NIKON D300, N90s, N8008s,
N6000, and N4004. The Auto focus system will work on those models.
